 Post subject: Yanmar 4JH4E V Belt

I am trying to change the v-belt on my Yanmar 4JH4E (Hunter 41DS). I ordered through Torresen the 25152-004300 belt. Even with the alternator pushed all the way over, there is no way to get the new belt on. Also, the belt is about 1mm wider than the belt currently in the boat. The currently installed belt has the following markings: 3440 13 X1090Li. Any suggestions??
